In our fast-paced, globalised world many people set out in search of their roots. The feeling of knowing where one comes from goes hand in hand with wearing the traditional attire that once indicated regional and social belonging. Taking works from the museum’s collection as its starting point, this exhibition uses international loans to establish a connection with contemporary art and current fashion design.
